Crypto Exchange Fee Calculator: Which Exchange Is Actually Cheapest for You?
Listicles compare base rates. Your real cost depends on your volume, order style, product mix and discounts. Enter your numbers – get your personal annual fee cost across Binance, Bybit, OKX and Coinbase, ranked.
Short answer: At published base rates, Binance, Bybit and OKX all charge about 0.10% spot taker, while Coinbase Advanced charges up to 0.60%. Example: $5,000/month in spot market orders costs ~$60/year on Binance, Bybit or OKX – but ~$360/year on Coinbase Advanced. With a 20% referral discount plus BNB fee payment, the Binance figure drops to ~$36/year. The cheapest exchange for you depends on your profile – calculate it below.

Your estimated annual fee cost, ranked
Estimates based on published base-tier maker/taker fees (verified 21 August 2026). Excludes spreads, funding rates, withdrawal fees and VIP/volume tiers. How this calculator works (methodology)
We weight each exchange’s published base-tier maker/taker fees by your order style, blend spot and futures rates by your product mix, then apply only documented, verifiable discounts: the Binance referral fee discount (code PRM26), BNB fee payment (25% off spot, 10% off futures fees), and the Bybit referral discount (code PCNVIP). Annual cost = monthly volume × 12 × your effective rate.
Base rates used: Binance 0.10%/0.10% spot, 0.02%/0.05% futures · Bybit 0.10%/0.10% spot, 0.02%/0.055% futures · OKX 0.08%/0.10% spot, 0.02%/0.05% futures · Coinbase Advanced 0.40%/0.60% spot (no comparable retail futures product, so it is excluded from futures comparisons). Sources: the official fee schedules published by each exchange.
EU note: Since 1 July 2026, Binance is not accepting new EU sign-ups pending a MiCA licence (what happened & what it means). Current licence status of every major venue: live MiCA tracker. Bybit serves EU users via its MiCA-licensed EU entity (availability varies by country), and OKX and Coinbase also hold MiCA authorisations.
