All Trading Guides
Charting and analysis guides focused on what separates the platforms in practice: scripting and backtesting depth, how many indicators a plan actually allows, and whether you can execute through the chart or need a separate broker.
What Matters When Comparing Charting Platforms
Indicators per chart, not per plan
Plan tiers are usually defined by how many indicators you can stack on one chart — 2 on a free tier versus 25 on a mid tier changes what analysis is possible at all.
Scripting and backtesting
A platform with its own language (Pine Script, thinkScript) lets you build and test a system inside the tool. Platforms without one cap you at predefined scans, which is simpler but far more limited.
Execution path
Some platforms connect natively to dozens of brokers; others route through an external service or require an account with the provider itself. This determines whether your analysis and your orders live in one place.
Access conditions
The cheapest platform is sometimes free with a brokerage account — which in practice means a specific country and broker. We state the access requirement alongside the price.
