Cybersecurity & Privacy Promo Codes 2026
NordVPN: up to 76% off the 2-year plan plus 3 months free, Basic from CHF 3.29 a month on the Swiss pricing page (CHF 88.83 for the first 27 months, then CHF 133.08 a year; 23 September 2026), no code to type. That is the VPN discount we test, and what a “promo code” actually means in this market: for NordVPN there is no code to type – the campaign price is applied on the offer page, and we check that page through our own link. The comparisons below put NordVPN against Surfshark, Proton VPN, ExpressVPN and CyberGhost on price, devices, refund terms and the one thing most coupon sites skip: what the plan costs when it renews.

What renewal costs
Every VPN campaign price is a first-term price. After the first term NordVPN renews every year at its renewal price (CHF 133.08 for Basic, CHF 209.88 for Complete) unless you cancel auto-renewal in time. The renewal guide shows the numbers and how a plan change takes effect.

Do you need to pay at all?
Proton VPN’s free plan has no data or time limit, one device, servers in 10 countries picked at random and no P2P. If that covers your use, it is the honest answer; the comparison explains where it falls short and what VPN Plus costs (CHF 3.49 a month, then CHF 83.88 a year).
