Code Verification Process

Every promotional code listed on Promo Code Network is manually activated by a person before publication. We do not scrape aggregator sites and we do not list bot-tested codes.

1. Source from operator directly — codes come from the brand’s affiliate program, partner portal, or verified press release. No third-party aggregators.
2. Test on a real account — every code is activated by signing up through the verified link and confirming the bonus/discount applies as advertised.
3. Document terms — bonus amount, eligible region, expiration window, and any KYC requirements are recorded with the verification date.
4. Publish with verification date — each page shows “Last verified: YYYY-MM-DD” so readers know exactly when the code was last confirmed working.
5. Re-verify monthly — every active code is re-tested at least once per month. Dead codes are removed within hours of detection.

Update Frequency

• Code re-verification: at least monthly per active code.
• Title and content date refresh: first calendar day of each month.
• Schema markup re-validation: weekly.
• Dead code removal: within 24 hours of detection.
• New brand/page publication: as affiliate programs become available; targeting weekly cadence.

Sources & Attribution

Promotional codes are sourced exclusively from:

• Official affiliate programs (Impact.com, Awin, CJ Affiliate, brand direct).
• Brand-issued press releases and verified affiliate manager communications.
• Direct testing by PCN staff with brand confirmation.

We never source codes from aggregator sites (RetailMeNot, Coupons.com, Honey, Capital One Shopping). External research (e.g., pricing benchmarks, market statistics) is cited inline with primary sources where applicable.

Corrections Policy

If we publish an error, we correct it as quickly as we discover it. Material corrections (changed bonus value, regional availability changes, code expiration) are noted in the page’s “Last verified” date and reflected in the page content immediately.
