Jurisdiction includes the parent company
A provider based outside the 5/9/14 Eyes alliances can still have a parent company headquartered inside one. Both levels belong in the assessment — we name the parent where it differs.
Audits: who, when, how many
“Independently audited” means little without the auditor, the year and the standard. We list the firm, the count of consecutive assessments and the standard applied.
Device limits and real cost
The headline monthly price only matters relative to how many devices it covers. Unlimited connections can beat a cheaper plan capped at seven.
Server counts are marketing numbers
Providers publish inconsistent figures across their own pages, and some decline to publish any. Where sources conflict, we say so rather than picking the flattering number.
