Both providers name Deloitte for their 2025 no-logs review. NordVPN’s own pages give different totals for its reviews, on its servers page and on its no-logs page, so this page states no count for NordVPN and bases no verdict on audit numbers. CyberGhost’s privacy hub dates its first Deloitte engagement (2022) and its latest (2025).
Features: Threat Protection and Meshnet against streaming and NoSpy servers
NordVPN. Every plan includes scam and phishing protection through NordVPN’s DNS servers, active only while connected. Complete and Ultra add the next-gen antivirus built on Threat Protection Pro: download scanning plus ad and tracker blocking on desktop, also without a VPN connection. Meshnet links up to 10 of your own devices and 50 external ones, and NordVPN calls it free. Specialty servers include Double VPN, Onion Over VPN and obfuscated servers; the protocols include NordLynx and NordWhisper. There is no port forwarding.
CyberGhost. The Windows app has a “For streaming” tab of servers optimised for streaming; CyberGhost’s support page asks users to pick the country they are in and states that circumventing geographic restrictions imposed by content providers breaches its terms. The Swiss order page lists access to NoSpy servers at CHF 0 in its order summary. The protocols are WireGuard, OpenVPN and IKEv2.
