How to Withdraw Your Funds
From Binance as an EU User

EU accounts have been withdraw-only since 1 July 2026. Your money is not stuck — but the order you do things in matters, and delisted coins carry hard deadlines.

Short answer: Binance suspended trading, deposits, Earn and EUR/SEPA rails for EU residents on 1 July 2026, but withdrawals remain open and there is no general cut-off deadline. The reliable route out is a crypto withdrawal to a MiCA-licensed exchange or your own wallet. Two exceptions need urgency: coins Binance has delisted have their own withdrawal deadlines, and anything still sitting in Earn or staking must be redeemed before it can move.

The Right Order, Step by Step

1. Take inventory — including Earn and staking. Check Spot, Funding, Earn and staked positions separately. Anything locked in Earn or staking must be redeemed to your Spot or Funding wallet first, where the interface still allows it; flexible products redeem quickly, locked products follow their own terms.
2. Check for delisted coins first. These are the only balances with hard deadlines. The July round (ALCX, ARDR, NFP, POND) is withdrawable until 9 September 2026; the August round (ACX, HFT, PIVX, PYR, VANRY, VIC) until 17 October 2026. After a deadline, Binance’s notice governs what happens — do not test it. Full guide: what to do when your coin is delisted.
3. Choose your destination. Two clean options: a MiCA-licensed exchange that serves the EEA — the current list is on our licence tracker, and our Bybit EU page covers the one we partner with — or self-custody in your own wallet if you do not plan to trade.
4. Withdraw in crypto, carefully. EUR/SEPA rails were among the services listed as suspended for EU residents, so treat crypto withdrawal as the dependable route: match the network on both sides exactly, include memo/tag where the asset needs one, mind the per-network withdrawal fee against small balances, and send a test amount first for anything substantial.
5. Convert dust before you leave. Tiny balances below withdrawal minimums cannot be sent. Where the interface still offers conversion of small balances, do that first; otherwise accept that dust may stay behind.
6. Keep records. Export your transaction history before you stop using the account. A plain transfer between your own accounts is generally not a taxable disposal in most jurisdictions — but records are what let you prove it. We are not tax advisors; check your country’s rules.

No panic, but no drift either: there is no general deadline on EU withdrawals — Binance has said funds stay accessible. The risks are the specific ones above: delisting cut-offs, locked Earn positions, and networks chosen wrongly in a hurry. Work through the list once, calmly, and you are out clean.

FAQ

Is there a deadline to withdraw from Binance as an EU user?
No general deadline – Binance has said existing funds remain accessible and withdrawals stay open. Hard deadlines exist only for delisted coins: the July 2026 round is withdrawable until 9 September 2026, the August round until 17 October 2026.
Can I still withdraw euros via SEPA from Binance?
EUR/SEPA rails were among the services listed as suspended for EU residents alongside trading and deposits. The dependable route is a crypto withdrawal to a licensed exchange or your own wallet; check your account for what your interface currently offers.
What happens to my coins in Binance Earn or staking?

Is moving my crypto to another exchange a taxable event?
Transferring assets between your own accounts is generally not a disposal in most jurisdictions, unlike selling or converting. Rules differ by country and we are not tax advisors – keep your transaction records and check your local rules.
Which exchanges can EU users move to?
The MiCA-licensed venues open to EEA users include Kraken, Coinbase, OKX, Crypto.com, Bybit EU, Bitpanda and Bitvavo – current status for each is on our licence tracker, checked against the ESMA register.
