Plans and prices
Is TradingView free?
Yes. The Basic plan has no time limit and includes charts for stocks, crypto, forex and futures with one chart per tab, two indicators per chart, limited alerts and ads. Paid plans remove the ads and raise the limits.
How much does TradingView cost?
Monthly: Essential 14.95 USD, Plus 34.95 USD, Premium 69.95 USD, Ultimate 239.95 USD (TradingView pricing page, 22 September 2026). Billed annually the per-month price drops to 12.95, 29.95, 59.95 and 199.95 USD, a saving of 13–17%. The Expert tier is no longer listed on the public pricing page.
Which TradingView plan is best?
Essential if you watch one market at a time and mainly want ads gone. Plus if you need several charts per tab and more alerts. Premium only for active intraday trading with second-based intervals. Ultimate is priced for professionals. The limits are compared on plans compared.
Does annual billing save 60%?
No. Annual billing saves 13% on Essential, 14% on Plus and Premium and 17% on Ultimate against monthly prices. Larger percentages appear only during TradingView’s occasional sales, such as Black Friday, which have their own dates and terms. See yearly vs monthly.
Trial, referral credit and refunds
Is the TradingView free trial really free?
Yes, for 30 days on Essential, Plus and Premium and 14 days on Ultimate. A payment method is required and the plan converts to paid when the trial ends, so cancel before that date if you do not want to continue.
How does the 15 USD discount work?
Through our partner link, a new account that buys a paid plan gets 15 USD off its next plan purchase (TradingView partner programme, checked 22 September 2026). It is not applied to the first payment, cannot be added to an existing account and is not paid out as cash. TradingView’s refer-a-friend scheme is separate: there the inviter earns the credit.
The credit is not showing at checkout. Why?
Two reasons. The discount applies to the next plan after the first paid purchase, so it does not appear on the first checkout. And it belongs to the account created in the referral session, so it cannot be added to an existing account. What to check is on credit not showing.
Can I get a refund on a TradingView plan?
There is no 30-day money-back guarantee. Under TradingView’s policies (checked 22 September 2026), annual plans can be refunded if requested within 14 calendar days of payment and monthly plans within 7 calendar days; the pricing page FAQ mentions annual plans only, so do not count on a monthly refund. The safe route is to cancel before the trial ends or before the renewal date. Details on the refund guide.
Alerts, brokers and Pine Script
How many alerts do I get?
20 price and 20 technical alerts on Essential, 100 on Plus, 400 on Premium and 1,000 on Ultimate (pricing page, 22 September 2026). The free plan has 3 price alerts.
Can I trade from TradingView?
Yes, through integrated brokers and exchanges, including Bybit for crypto. Orders are placed from the chart and executed by the broker; TradingView itself holds no funds. The integration works on the free plan as well. Setup for Bybit is on connecting TradingView to Bybit.
Is Pine Script available on the free plan?
Yes. Pine Script, the language for custom indicators and strategies, is available on every plan including Basic; the plan only limits how many indicators a chart can carry at once. Ready-made scripts are in the public library.
Which indicators are worth using for crypto?
That depends on the strategy, and the per-chart limit of the plan matters more than the choice. A practical selection that fits within Essential and Plus limits is on best indicators for crypto.
Does TradingView have mobile apps?
Yes, free apps for iOS and Android with the same account, charts and alerts as the web version, plus desktop apps for Windows, macOS and Linux. Plan limits apply across all of them.
