How TradingView vs TrendSpider was compared

The two platforms were checked on eight criteria: plans and prices, free tier, trial, refunds, indicators and alerts, scripting and back-testing, replay, and trading from the platform with its market data. Every figure comes from TradingView’s pricing, policies and partner pages and from TrendSpider’s pricing page, refund policy and product pages, all read on 23 September 2026. Nothing on this page was measured; where a page does not list a feature, the table says so.

TrendSpider quotes each plan as a range by billing term, with one set of prices after the paid trial and a lower set for subscribing directly; its refund policy names monthly, quarterly and annual terms. Day trading, especially with leverage, carries a high risk of loss.

Verdict: TradingView on price and access, TrendSpider on automation

Our pick, with the interest disclosed. On this page’s criteria TradingView wins on price, free tier, trial, refunds and replay: a free plan, a 30-day free trial against a paid one, a 14-day refund window on annual plans against 72 hours, Bar Replay on every plan, and a paid entry at 12.95 USD a month billed annually against 54 USD (subscribing directly) or 59 USD after the paid trial. TradingView pays this site a commission through our partner link, which gives you 15 USD off your next plan after the first; the first plan costs the same either way.

TrendSpider wins on automation. Its no-code Strategy Tester runs one strategy across up to 510 symbols on Advanced, strategy bots can place orders through its broker connections, and non-professionals get real-time US equity data without an exchange fee. If you want to build and deploy rules without writing Pine Script and the 91 to 149 USD a month for Premium fits your budget, the paid trial is the way to find out; cancel before day 14 if it does not suit you, because the trial fee is not refunded. Neither platform’s back-test is a forecast.
